It’s Sweden Rock time~

So, my buss leaves in a little more than six hours, 7:50 am… The festival starts on Wednesday. I’ll be home Sunday evening. I’ll put the rest of this post under a cut because I doubt people who don’t like metal are very interested in what bands I’m going to see, but first, one more thing: GAMMA RAY ARE HAVING A FUCKING SIGNING SESSION. SASGSDHDJ. ASAGDFJFK. …sagdsh. Seriously. Kai Hansen is my GOD, and I’ll get to see him face to face, say hi to him, and get something signed. I’m like… When I read about it I called my bf and just screamed and squealed in his ear… I’m so excited I don’t even know I just asaghdfj ;-;

Listening to Gamma Ray’s album New World Order! which I’ve borrowed from Emil and put on my computer + iPod. Gamma Ray has been one of my favourite bands since I was like 14, but for some reason I never got this album, despite it being one of the most popular ones. (I’ve heard it a few times though - actually the song Dethrone Tyranny was the first Gamma Ray song I ever heard. My first bf sent it to me.) At the moment I’m really glad I didn’t get this album earlier, because then I wouldn’t have the immense pleasure of discovering it for real now! (Seriously, albums like this one don’t come along often…) It’s insanely catchy and extremely good. Damn, I’m so glad I decided to go to Sweden Rock Festival this year! I mainly decided to go because Symphony X will be there (my favourite prog metal band; it’s not my favourite genre but I’d never forgive myself if I missed this chance to see them), but now I’m suuuuper excited to see Gamma Ray as well! I’ve seen them twice before, and damn, I cried the first time because it was just so amazing to see Kai Hansen live…

I don’t care if my music rants don’t interest anyone, it’s 2 am and I’m fucking happy.
